Phil & Teds Traveller Crib is another big product that is often bought by Phil & Teds fans. Let’s find out more:
Phil & Teds Traveller Crib Review
The ultra-compact, feather-light and portable design of this travel crib is perfect for traveling with young ones. This portable crib will work for babies up to 45 pounds so you can also use it as a playpen and sleep station. Parents love how small and convenient this travel crib is for traveling. It’s a perfect setup for the grandparents’ house as well.
At only 7 pounds, it can be carried in an overhead compartment of a plane and takes up nearly no space when folded down to fit into a convenient carry bag–making it easy to take with you wherever you go.
Plus, since your little one will need somewhere comfortable to sleep while traveling, the traveler crib comes complete with a thermal-rest mattress that can fold out from under the bedding for added comfort. With all these features combined together, this innovative travel crib makes life much easier when living or visiting abroad.
It has a unique side panel that unzips for snuggling babies and the polyester materials have been Oeko-Tex certified making it one of the safest cribs you can buy. When it comes to portability, this product is hard to beat; however, the setup time can be quite frustrating. (opening and closing methods are ridiculously convoluted)
Ease of Use
This is a great travel bed for infants and toddlers, but its high price point might be too much to ask. It has the longest setup time of any crib tested – 28 minutes on our first go. That’s three times longer than the next most difficult competitor. With its side zipper, parents can sleep with their baby for added comfort or use it as an open play yard to extend the room.
The Phil & Teds Traveller Crib is designed for those who want a portable crib that can be used as soon as they arrive at their destination. It has the lowest weight in our test, making it easy to carry over long distances, and comes with a shoulder strap which makes carrying easier than other models without handles or wheels. This crib earned a 10 of 10 for portability – the highest of any product we tested.
We would like to recommend the Phil & Teds Traveller Crib as a good, comfortable alternative for those who want an inflatable crib. The mattress is high-quality and feels luxurious compared to the other products we reviewed. If you’re looking for something more traditional that’s also very comfy, take a look at this product.
Unlike other travel cots, the frame has an aluminum frame with nylon/polyester fabric. There are no loose threads on our product but pressing on the top bar will move the legs when you don’t intend to because it shakes easily.
It’s flame retardant-free and uses Oeko-Tex certified materials. All in all, it earned an 8 out of 10 for eco-health, one of only a few products that scored higher than 1 on our scale.
I’m not usually one to spend a lot on baby products, but when it comes to this particular item, the Phil & Teds Traveller Crib is worth every penny. It’s light and easy to carry with me wherever I go (I even use it as my bedside table), and still has most of the features that make for a good crib.
